St. Francisco Marto, born in 1908 in Fatima, Portugal. One of the three shepherd children graced with the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary in 1917. While his cousin Lucia and sister Jacinta received more direct messages from Our Lady. Francisco often drawn into deep silence and contemplation. Spending long hours in prayer to console the “Hidden Jesus” in the Blessed Sacrament. His quiet, gentle nature reflected a soul deeply in love with God. He showed a remarkable commitment to prayer, especially the Rosary.

After the apparitions, Francisco embraced a life of penance and spiritual sacrifice. Offering everything for the conversion of sinners and reparation for sins. Despite his young age, he understood the seriousness of the call from Our Lady and responded with childlike trust and devotion. He died peacefully in 1919 at the age of 10, just two years after the apparitions. Leaving behind a legacy of innocence, prayer, and deep faith. His canonization in 2017 affirms his place as a powerful intercessor and example for children and adults alike.
