Our Lady of Joy – Christmas Oil

Our Lady of Joy is a title given to Mary, the Mother of Jesus, to honor the happiness and peace she brings into the lives of those who love her. Mary’s life was simple and full of faith. She grew up in Nazareth, and when God chose her to be the mother of His Son, she accepted with trust and love, even though she knew it would not be easy.

Mary’s greatest joy came from her son, Jesus. She brought Him into the world, cared for Him, and watched Him grow into the Savior of all people. Though she experienced deep sorrow, especially during His crucifixion, Mary always trusted in God’s promise of eternal joy.

As the Mother of Jesus, Mary also became a spiritual mother to all of us. She wants everyone to share in the joy she felt by loving Jesus and trusting in God. When we pray to her as Our Lady of Joy, we ask for her help in finding peace and happiness, even during life’s struggles.

The title “Our Lady of Joy” celebrates Mary’s role in bringing Jesus, the source of true happiness, into the world. Her life reminds us that even in difficult times, real joy comes from faith, love, and hope in God.
