St. Saturninus, also known as St. Sernin, was a Christian martyr and the first bishop of Toulouse in France. He lived during the 3rd century and is known for his missionary work in spreading Christianity in the region of Gaul (modern-day France).

St. Saturninus worked tirelessly to convert the people of Toulouse to Christianity. However, his efforts angered the local pagan authorities. He was eventually arrested and, after enduring cruel treatment, was tied to a bull and dragged to his death. His martyrdom is said to have occurred around 250 AD. St. Saturninus is remembered for his strong faith, courage in the face of persecution, and his dedication to spreading the Christian faith.
