St Wolfgang of Regensburg Healing, also known as Saint Wolfgang or Wolfgang of Ratisbon, is a revered saint in the Catholic Church who is invoked against stomach diseases. He was born in the early tenth century, around the year 934, in Swabia, Germany. Little is known about his early life, but he is believed to have come from a noble family.

Wolfgang’s education and spiritual journey led him to become a monk at the Benedictine monastery of Reichenau in Lake Constance. There, he dedicated himself to a life of prayer, study, and self-discipline. His exceptional piety and intellectual abilities quickly gained recognition, and he became renowned as a wise and holy man.

St. Wolfgang’s deep devotion and personal example inspired many to lead lives of greater holiness. He emphasized the importance of humility, simplicity, and detachment from worldly possessions. His commitment to the spiritual well-being of his people and his reputation for healing made him widely venerated during his lifetime and after his death.

St. Wolfgang passed away on October 31, 994, in Pupping, Austria. His tomb in Regensburg soon became a popular pilgrimage site, and he officially canonized as a saint by Pope Leo IX in 1052.

Today, St Wolfgang of Regensburg Healing remembered as a compassionate bishop. A model of faith and virtue, and a powerful intercessor for those suffering from stomach diseases. His feast day celebrated on October 31, the day of his death, and he continues to venerated by Catholics around the world.
