Servant of God Margarita born on November 19, 1879 in Partinico, Province of Palermo. She is the daughter of Ferdinando Crispi and Rachele De Rubei. Three children were born Ginevra (the first-born), Diomira (the Servant of God) and Romano (Marine Officer). Who died at the age of twenty-one in America.
Receives Holy Baptism on November 29 Mother Church “Annunciation of Mary Most Holy” in Partinico. The name of Diomira Ludovica Romana. She always considered that date as the date of her true birth. She moved to Rome for studies at College of Divine Providence.
Therefore, on June 1, 1892, he received his First Communion. With the adolescent thrust of her thirteen years she is in love with Jesus. Receiving him, having him for herself, adoring him is such an event. At eighteen she feels very strong call to religious life.
But after having prayed, reflected, struggled with herself, she chose to enter the Congregation of the “Daughters of the Cross” in France: it was the year 1901. On September 2, 1902, she made her First Profession, leaving the name “Diomira” and taking that of “Luisa Margarita”.
Accordingly, years of religious life and prayer helped her spiritual director Msgr. Héctor Savazzini. She understands that the Lord has other projects for her. He is calling her to found a new Religious Institute.
As a result obedience to the Vicar of Christ, prayer and collaboration with the Catholic priesthood, education of children and youth, realization of the kingdom of God in humility and in love.
