Later in life, with her husband’s blessing, Frances founded the Oblates of Mary, a lay religious community of women dedicated to serving the needy and living lives of prayer and simplicity. She also experienced visions of angels and known for her deep mystical connection with God. Despite her noble status, she lived with profound humility, always placing the needs of others before her own. St. Frances of Rome remembered today as the patron saint of widows and motorists, a shining example of how holiness can thrive in both family life and active charity.
